The last steps

I didn't take too many photos during the lasts steps. I guess I was too eager. Bu here I've pre-attached the tuners:
The bridge was first made of maple only, but I remade it whith an ebony top. First I sanded the down side to match the curve of the top perfectly:
Here is the almost finished bridge:
I decided to make the nut from ebony. It's usually made of bone and I started to make a bone blank. But then I thought that I used a zero fret so a wooden nut would make just fine. I also started to make a tail piece from an aluminium sheet, but found that I had one already made (from my very first octave mandola which is now in mandola heaven). But lastly a few pictures of the (almost) finished instrument:
I will come back whith some better pictures of the final instrument, including some nice details, but otherwise this is the result!
